A new partnership delivering cheaper, faster and from a single source.

TL:DR :- Singing up for a new partnership providing focused, single source, Data Center infrastructure.

It has been an interesting two weeks with lots of meetings and discussions on a more flexible partner when it comes to Power Delivery systems, Rack systems, PDU’s and more.

We are Vertiv partners and they are the preferred supplier for a large number of customers in Malaysia. However, Vertiv is driven by sales numbers and larger partners have an immediate advantage. In addition there is an obvious backlog as Data Centers in Malaysia is ramping up, meaning delivery lead times is very long and no guaranteed as larger customers take preference.

We are about to sign a partner agreement with a very impressive Chinese company providing almost one to one match to Vertiv with the obvious advantage of cheaper, better, faster and focused. When discussing current lead times the team laughed and said if they took that long everyone would be fired. So, that is good news.

They are also the manufacturer and everything is build out of the Bao’An District, Shenzhen factory, to order and will give us the Instant Edge. So many clues in here!

In addition we may change our operations to act as a distributor for the equipment as well. This will service the Malaysia and Singapore market.
